| School's over in a couple of weeks, and I feel as if I've competely let myself down thi term. Maybe it's just an excuse, but losing another person so close to you can and really does affect you.
Friends.... Friendship is one of the things that I cherish the most in my life apart from my family and God. What does "friendship" or simply just being a "friend" mean to you?

| Today is a very sad and tragic day. I just got word that one of my best friends back home just died last night in his sleep. Shane Edward McCabe was a 22 year old United States Marine Corps soldier that had a heart of gold. He loved his friends and family with all his heart and was loved by many. Shane was a TRU Soldier, one that was their with you always, even unto the end. You were always there for me and we always looked out for eachother.... I'm sorry Shane... I'm sorry that I wasnt there to look out for you hommie.... I'm sorry, I love you and miss you hommie! I promise to drop in and look after your family when I'm back home. Rest in Peace brother, Rest in peace.
Please pray for my friend Shane's family.

| Confessions
My spring break has been pretty laid back and kewl these past couple of
days. Today, I tried something that I have always wanted to
do. I went surfing for the first time @ Cannon Beach off the
coast of Oregon. It was truly amazing! I had a lot of fun,
but it was super duper hard.
But thats not what makes me a horrible person.........
After I went surfing, some friends and I went to the NHL playoffs
game Portland Winterhawks vs. Seattle T-Birds. It was o.k.
at first, but then it got really exciting towards the end. The
funny part was, one of the girls that was working during the quarters
is actually at our hockey team practices. The horrible part was,
in the third quarter I look up and see the girl (Mara) from my hockey
practice holding a bag with pucks and she threw one in my direction so
I caught it!! YAY! The messed up funny part was I reached
in front of two girls that were sitting next to me awaiting anxiously
with their arms out and snatched it from their reach. Muhaha...
ki ki ki ki...
I'm planning on going snowboarding again tomorrow, anybody want to go?
By the way, Portland won 2-1

| Ahhhh YES! I just finished my last final, and am officially on
spring break!
I'm skipping out on hockey practice today so my
rotator cuff can heal, but tomorrow I'm going to snowboard with some
friends. hehehe...
Then I have to go back to work work work, ugh!
I need new
comfortable dress shoes for work, all my other ones are killing me!
Next week, I'm going to try and make it
out to the coast and go surfing even if it is in the freezing Oregon
Pacific Ocean.
